Mu-Yi Chen

Mu-Yi Chen is the founder and artistic director of MuNo-Productions and the MuNo Taiwan Dance Company. A native of Taiwan, she trained at the Taipei National University of the Arts and has worked with, among others, the internationally renowned Cloud Gate Dance Company. Her career has also taken her to Rotterdam and to various German theaters and dance companies.


For over twenty years, she has combined Asian and European dance traditions, developing her own productions that focus on cultural exchange, innovation, and artistic diversity. For Saxony meets Taiwan 3.0 – Tradinovation , she is responsible for the overall artistic concept, choreography, and international collaboration between Taiwan and Germany.

Norbert Kegel

Norbert Kegel

Norbert Kegel is co-founder and managing director of MuNo-Productions. He trained at the Palucca School in Dresden, graduating with a diploma as a stage dancer. He subsequently performed as a soloist at various German theaters and was twice awarded the "Best Individual Performance" prize by the Sächsische Zeitung newspaper.


For many years, alongside his artistic work, he has dedicated himself to the development of international cultural projects and the promotion of young talent. As project manager of Saxony meets Taiwan 3.0 – Tradinovation, he is responsible for production, organization, stage design, and the coordination of international partnerships between Saxony and Taiwan.

For Saxony meets Taiwan 3.0 – Tradinovation, artists from Germany, Great Britain, Italy, and Ukraine are coming together. This international lineup reflects the project's core idea: cultural encounter, artistic exchange, and the unifying power of the performing arts between Europe and Taiwan. Together with MuNo-Productions and MuNo Taiwan, they are creating a production that transcends borders and connects people through art.

Clara Ngo

United Kingdom

Clara Ngo | MuNo-Dancer

Clara Ngo is a young British dancer of Vietnamese descent. She trained at the prestigious Central School of Ballet in London, as well as in the postgraduate program of Northern Ballet and at the Acosta Advanced Training Hub. Her engagements include performances with the Royal Ballet in London, the British Festival Ballet tour in France and Luxembourg, and productions with the Delattre Dance Company in Germany. Her repertoire ranges from classical ballet and neoclassical works to contemporary dance.

Valeriia Plakhina

Ukraine

Valeriia Plakhina | MuNo-Dancer

The Ukrainian dancer received her training at the Kyiv State Ballet College and subsequently studied at the Palucca University of Dance in Dresden. Even at a young age, she won numerous international competitions in Poland, Italy, and Ukraine. Her artistic repertoire encompasses classical ballet, contemporary dance, improvisation, pas de deux, and modern works. She gained international stage experience, including a European tour with the International Festival Ballet in "Swan Lake."

Leon Damm

Leon Damm | MuNo-Dancer

Leon Damm is a professional dancer from Dresden and a graduate of the renowned Palucca University of Dance Dresden. After graduating, he was engaged as a soloist at the Pforzheim City Theatre. Further artistic engagements have taken him to venues including the Semperoper Dresden, the Hellerau Festival Theatre, and the Eduard von Winterstein Theatre in Annaberg-Buchholz. His repertoire combines classical and contemporary dance with opera and theatre productions. With his versatility and stage presence, he enriches the international ensemble of "Saxony meets Taiwan 3.0 – Tradinovation".

Philip Cosso

Filippo Cosso | MuNo-Dancer

The Turin-born dancer worked with Dantzaz Kompania in San Sebastián, Spain, one of Spain's internationally renowned contemporary dance companies. Previously, he was a member of the Agora Junior Company and participated in numerous productions by prominent European choreographers. His training included the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Scholarship Program. Filippo combines technical precision, a commanding stage presence, and a powerful contemporary movement vocabulary.

Matilde Colombo

Filippo Cosso | MuNo-Dancer

Matilde Colombo is a professional ballet dancer from Switzerland. After completing her training at the Accademia Teatro alla Scalain Milan and the Rosella Hightower Dance Schoolin Cannes, she performed with renowned companies including the NRW Junior Ballet Dortmund, Ballet Dortmund, and the Thuringian State Ballet Altenburg-Gera. Her repertoire spans classical masterpieces such as Swan Lake, La Bayadère, and The Sleeping Beauty, as well as contemporary works by internationally acclaimed choreographers.

MuNo-DanceStudio Ensemble (Germany)


In addition to the international professional dancers, eleven selected dancers from the MuNo-DanceStudio Radebeul are participating in Saxony meets Taiwan 3.0 – Tradinovation.


Many of them have been receiving training from Mu-Yi Chen and Norbert Kegel in ballet, hip-hop, show dance, and stage presence for several years, some for over seven years. Through numerous performances, projects, and productions, they have already gained extensive stage experience.


They were selected from over 250 dancers at the MuNo DanceStudio for this international production. Together with professional artists from Germany, Great Britain, Italy, and Ukraine, they form a unique ensemble of emerging and professional dancers, representing the successful combination of talent development, cultural exchange, and international collaboration.

Taiwan Students

Dongmen Elementary School Dance Class (Taiwan)


A special component of Saxony meets Taiwan 3.0 – Tradinovation is the participation of the dance class of the Dongmen Elementary School from Taipei, Taiwan.

Dongmen Elementary School is a state school with a renowned dance program where talented children receive targeted support from a young age. Alongside their academic studies, students participate in daily dance training and receive comprehensive instruction in various dance styles, as well as in stage presence and artistic expression.

Their participation creates a unique cultural exchange between young dancers from Taiwan and Saxony. Together with international professional dancers and the MuNo-DanceStudio Ensemble, they represent the next generation of artists and embody the educational and exchange ideals of Saxony meets Taiwan in a special way.
